Ourturn Records Radio Music Policy: Original Music, Credited Producers

Ourturn Records Radio is built on a simple belief: talent has no age limit and no zip code. Today we're publishing our official music policy — what we play, what we don't, and how young and older artists in our community can submit music for airplay.

Our promise

We play original and community-cleared music, and we credit every producer, every time.

What we play

  • Original music by Ourturn Records artists and community submitters who own their work outright.
  • Music made on properly licensed or leased beats — lease receipt or license shown at submission.
  • Royalty-free and Creative Commons music, used within its license terms.
  • Music submitted with the rights-holder's written permission.

What we don't play

  • Unlicensed remakes, remixes, or “reinventions” of copyrighted songs.
  • Rips taken from YouTube or any other platform.
  • Major-producer (industry) beats without a license from the producer.
  • Any track whose beat ownership or license can't be shown.

Giving a producer credit is respect — and we always do it — but credit is not a substitute for permission.

Producer credit

Every track we air credits its producer: on-air, in stream metadata where supported, and on our published playlists.

Community opportunity program

If you're a young artist with something to prove, or an older artist with something to say, this station is for you. To submit music for airplay, send: (1) the finished track (MP3); (2) proof you own or licensed the beat — a lease receipt, the producer's written permission, or the producer's contact so we can verify; (3) songwriter and producer credits. Don't have a beat? We work with in-house producers who create original beats for community artists — ask us. Email submissions to: reformnation21@gmail.com

For rights holders

If you believe your work is airing on our station without permission, contact us at reformnation21@gmail.com. We will investigate immediately and remove anything we can't verify — no fight, no delay.

Listen live at ourturnrecords.com. Submissions: reformnation21@gmail.com.
